Anavii Cooking Recipe: Chocolate Pumpkin Hemp Bread

Fall is officially in full swing, and we are thrilled to share a delicious and festive Pumpkin Hemp bread recipe with you. This moist and satisfying healthy treat provides a dose of fall flavor with a nutrient dense boost from our Anavii Hemp Protein Powder, the perfect secret ingredient to change up the traditional fall recipe. The bread is easy to make, gluten and grain-free, and filled with seasonal spices to invoke all the fall feels. It’s extra tasty served warm and smeared with grass-fed butter or dolloped with whipped coconut cream for dessert, or it can be enjoyed with fresh berries and garnished with hemp seeds or spread with hemp butter for breakfast. Chocolate Pumpkin Hemp Bread Recipe

Ingredients:

Dry:

1 ½ cups blanched almond flour

½ teaspoon Himalayan (pink) sea salt

¾ teaspoon baking soda

2 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon

½ teaspoon ground cloves

¼ teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg (fresh is key for flavor impact!)


Wet:

4 organic eggs

¾ cup canned pumpkin puree 

¼ cup pure maple syrup

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract


Mix-ins:

¼ cup dark chocolate chips

¼ cup hemp hearts


Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Grease an 8” x 4” loaf pan with coconut oil (by hand) or non-stick coconut or olive oil spray. Line pan with natural parchment paper and coat the paper with oil (for ease of bread removal).
  3. In a mixing bowl, place all dry ingredients and stir to combine.
  4. In another mixing bowl, place all wet ingredients and whisk to combine into a batter.
  5. Pour batter into dry ingredients and gently stir to combine.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips and hemp seeds and combine fully.
  7. Pour batter into the lined loaf pan and smooth with a spatula. Feel free to sprinkle extra hemp seeds on top.
  8. Place pan in oven and bake for 42-45 minutes, or until no longer wet in the center.
  9. Remove from oven once done. Note: This bread is very moist and will firm up as it cools.
  10. Allow to cool and enjoy!
